I always serve breakfast in bed on my pretty trays & plates. I spend a lot time adding special touches like flowers or a beautiful card & never thought about how my husband & little boys probably don’t appreciate things being pretty like I do. I forget although I’m putting extra touches on things I’m doing them the way I would like them and not the people who I am trying to make things special for. That is a new focus of mine. 🙂 There is no better way of saying I love you then allowing someone to sleep in & making them breakfast in bed.
I dreamt up this Industrial Chalkboard Serving Tray for Fathers day & can’t wait to serve him Fat French toast with bacon, grits, & orange juice. I love the chalkboard touch because the boys & I can leave sweet notes for him to read while he eats. Hope you love this & you won’t believe how incredibly simple it is to make! Have a lovely day. xo -Tiff
